Welcome to Auditory Pathways
Auditory Pathways is a unique private practice specializing in the assessment and treatment of Auditory Processing Disorders. Due to the Covid-19 Global Pandemic, all services are now offered remotely to Ontario residents using evidence-based assessment and treatment protocols. These services are available for children, teens, and young adults.
Services are available for children, teens, and young adults of all abilities. In some cases, depending on the age of the child and their needs, our focus is on counselling for the parents, caregivers, and families.
Due to the pandemic, remote auditory processing assessments are now being offered to children ages 7 and older. Through the use of a new evidence-based app, along with an ipad, appropriate headphones and a quiet testing environment, it is possible for your child to complete the test in the comfort of your own home.
Prior to scheduling your child’s remote assessment, a current hearing test (no more than 6 months old) must be submitted. A hearing test can be completed by your local audiologist.

For the children we work with, including those diagnosed with ADHD or those who are on the spectrum, the evidence-based therapies offered are grounded in neuroscience and can bring about profound neurological changes. These changes help overcome weak or inefficient processing resulting in improved learning and communication abilities. This helps not only in the classroom setting, but in all areas of life.
