http://335th.com/product-tag/modernbasics/page/3?add_to_wishlist=2816 Services are available for children, teens, and young adults of all abilities.  In some cases, depending on the age of the child and their needs, our focus is on counselling for the parents, caregivers, and families.

Our clients enjoy a welcome change from the typical medical office by receiving professional services and support in a quiet and comfortable home-based setting.  Saturday appointments are available and the parking is free!

In addition to diagnostic testing, a variety of treatments are offered, including listening therapy, guided imagery, solution-focused counselling, and life coaching for children, teens, and young adults, as well as for their families.  Our work together will address the ‘whole’ child which is the key to living well with auditory processing disorder, misophonia, tinnitus, and hyperacusis.

For the children we work with, including those diagnosed with ADHD or those who are on the spectrum, the evidence-based therapies offered are grounded in neuroscience and can bring about profound neurological changes. These changes help overcome weak or inefficient processing resulting in improved learning and communication abilities. This helps not only in the classroom setting, but in all areas of life.

Located in Stouffville, Ontario, we are within easy access from the GTA.  Due to the focus of our services, we also serve families from the York-Durham, Peel, and Simcoe County regions.

We are also pleased to offer a secure online video therapy option.  Similar to Facetime, this option is available from the comfort of your own home.  You can use either a computer, tablet, or even your cellphone!  Just make sure you have a stable internet connection.

Working together via secure online therapy can be just as powerful and engaging as sitting together face-to-face in my office.  Some clients feel more comfortable with this modality, particularly if they live a great distance away or if timing for appointments or travel is difficult.

OnCall Health is a powerful platform which complies with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and all equivalent personal health information protection legislation in Canada.
